Hi there!

I'm looking for a place to sublet or do a lease takeover of until mid June 2022 or the end of June 2022 as my current lease is ending relatively soon and I'm moving in with my sister when she moves to NYC in June of next year. Starting date is flexible (now until the end of October is fine as my current lease does not end until the end of October).

Looking to live with no more than 1 or 2 CF roommates, budget is $1500, and preferred areas are upper to mid Brooklyn (lowest I'd go is Crown Heights/PLG/Flatbush), the downtown Manhattan areas, Midtown and LIC. I'm a little tired of dealing with unwanted intruders (read: bugs and pests) that come with pre-war apartments so I'm looking to live in a new/newer building. Otherwise, my must haves are a having a room with a decent sized closet, room for a full bed and desk to comfortably exist together in the room and that there be some living space (i.e. living room) in the apartment as well as I probably will indefinitely be working from home and appreciate a change of scenery from my desk every once in a while.

A little about me: I'm a project manager at an experiential/tech company based in NYC and C3 NYC (https://www.c3.nyc) is my church home in NY! As I work a lot and serve quite a lot at church as well, so that's mainly what occupies my time but I also like meeting up with friends around the city for food and to catch up or if I'm home, I watch a lot of Netflix and Youtube like everyone else. Otherwise at home I pretty much keep to myself (I'm an extraverted introvert), cook minimally (I have a meal subscription service because I'm working almost all day M-F and sometimes weekends), and like to keep things clean (i.e. vacuuming 2-3 times a week).
